I grew up in the Inland Empire, in Yucaipa, California. This community shaped me, and it's the community I've dedicated my career to serving. After studying political science at UCLA, I returned home to attend the University of La Verne College of Law on a scholarship, where I committed myself to the practice of criminal defense.

Before opening my firm, I worked as a public defender for over a decade, fighting every day against the injustices of mass incarceration. I have handled thousands of cases and taken many of them to trial, where I obtained countless not guilty verdicts for my clients.
